Youth With A Mission is an international movement of Christians from many denominations dedicated to serving Jesus throughout the world. Our calling is to know God and to make Him known. Back when we began in 1960, our main focus was to get college age youth into short-term mission work and to provide them opportunities to reach out in Jesus' name. Today, we still focus on youth, and we also involve people of almost every age. Our many ministries fit into three main categories: evangelism, training, and mercy ministry.
YWAM Vladivostok has started in March 2009. In February 2011 we finished the very first Discipleship Training School in our city, now preparing for the next one. It is exciting to be a pioneering team - often we have to step out of what we know and walk on the water.
